Pester and Rossi: Lunarnova Campout 26/08/2017 - 27/08/2017
Glasgow-based duo Ruby Pester and Nadia Rossi have been working together since 2008. They create wearable sculpture, DIY costume and props working with an anarchistic and feminist approach often creating interventions around the body, sexuality and rituals.
At Jupiter Artland they produced an overnight event focusing on finding hope in the dark. Responding to nocturnal rituals, notions of destruction, and renewal that come with cycles of the moon, Pester & Rossi invited performances from artists and musicians and invited participants to camp overnight in the grounds with site specific events happening between sunset and sunrise, centred around their stage sculpture, the ‘Divine Heart Centre’.
