We have big plans to establish new shelter belts in the park, mainly using indigenous trees, but also incorporating other species to increase biodiversity and make Jupiter more resilient. In 2019 we planted a conifer wood of 5000 trees in several varieties of pine to create carbon offsetting and shelter that is similar to other plantations in West Lothian, an example of a sustainable approach to landscape management.
